Sohal Pendse is the Director of Business Operations at [Prorelix Research](/org/prorelix-research). Sohal has over 10 years of experience in operational procedures, business management, and marketing. 

Pendse began their career as an Associate Project Manager at SCIFORMIX TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED in 2013. There they worked on various projects, including the implementation of an ERP system for a company with 600 employees. In 2016, they became Managing Partner at Imperative Strategic solution, where they were responsible for developing operational procedures, acquiring new business, and overseeing proposals with clients. 

Pendse has a proven track record of successful project management and business operations. Sohal is an expert in developing efficient systems and procedures that help organizations meet their goals. Pendse is a strategic thinker who is always looking for ways to improve efficiency and optimize productivity. Sohal is a strong leader with a passion for helping businesses grow and succeed.

He is a physician with more than 26+ years of experience in the field of surgery, clinical research and academia. He is an expert general surgeon who also specializes in oncology & laproscopic surgeries. He has led various clinical trials and specializes in Cancer trials. He is the president of Aurangabad Surgical Society and an esteemed member of the executive committee of The Association of Surgeons India.

His forte is a clear understanding of the regulations and expectations of regulatory authorities required for clinical research and he also ensures compliance with safety aspects scrutinized during GMP and GCP inspections. He is an expert in the design and implementation of clinical research projects within defined standards and budgets (e.g. Phase I-IV, post-marketing clinical activities such as registry/database projects, epidemiological surveys, and PMOS studies).

Vikas Deshmukh

Sornaraja Thasma serves as Director of Business and Quality Assurance, leading the integrated teams within ProRelixResearch committed to delivering exceptional clinical development services and flexible support to Pharmaceutical/Biotech and medical device clients.

Dr.Thasma has over 2 decade of clinical research experience both within the pharmaceutical and CRO sectors. During this time he has worked at all levels and across operational and commercial functions within the industry. Dr.Thasma has held roles including Global Head of the Clinical Research Division at ProRelixResearch. Within each role he has made significant contributions to the successful growth and development of the company through his strategic business plans.

Prior to joining ProRelixResearch, He was heading the Business Development and Operation in the UK based Preclinical CRO, during this time his focus changed from purely operational activities to include strategic and corporate development activities in preclinical invitro services for Oncology, Respiratory, Immunology Therapeutic Areas.

Before this time Dr.Thasma worked in the Clinical Development, Project, Operations and Program management in the UK / EU based Biotechs/ Pharma companies and Various NHS-UK hospitals. During these position, he had worked in the discovery and development of novel drugs for CNS/Hearing Disorders/ Immuno-Modulator Therapy and various Immunology and Respiratory conditions. He coordinated both clinical and preclinical efforts in the areas of Oncology, Cognitive impairment and Auditory Disorders, directed project teams responsible for early drug development phase (Phase I) to the end of Phase III/IV.

Dr.Thasma holds Masters in Clinical Research from London City University, an MSc in Information Management from Alagappa University and a Bachelors in Bio-Medical Science from Dr. M.G.R University. He has authored numerous academic publications and written various articles on clinical research topics.

Sornaraja Thasma

A versatile person with an impeccable academic record and an insatiable appetite for knowledge, Mr. Andhalkar began his career in Healthcare Industry, over a decade ago. Having started out with a giant MNC, since then, he has held several leadership positions in a CRO set-up, pharmaceutical services as well as education industry.

His ingrained affinity towards work ethics, unlimited zeal and energy to do more, combined with the best training, and 10+ years of experience in business development along with business management he received quite early on in his career.

He holds utmost expertise in erecting and making profitable CRO, Pharma, Education, Logistics and Healthcare IT businesses. He is on board of various reputed journals as well. With his unquenchable thirst for learning and contributing towards healthcare, Mr. Andhalkar proved his mettle in his every project, then wheel of his Enterprise was set in motion and he hasn’t looked back.
