Gerrit Roelants

Gerrit Roelants has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Gerrit started their career in 2009 as the Owner of ProjectMan bvba, where they provided technical advisory, project management, and support for construction projects. In 2012, they became the General Manager at Mobix Total Solutions. From 2015 to 2020, they worked for Aswebo and Willemen Infra as a Technical Consultant, Trainer, and Safety Consultant. In 2016, they joined Stabirail as a Business Unit Manager and Willemen Groep as an Interface/Project Manager. In 2019, they became a Consulting Specialist at proSapient. Currently, Gerrit is working as the Manager of Concrete & Industry at BESIX Infra.

Gerrit Roelants has a diverse education history. In 1982, they attended Sint-Jan Berchmansinstituut Puurs, where they studied mathematics. In 1988, they enrolled in KU Leuven Faculty of Engineering Technology - De Nayer Campus, pursuing a degree in industrial engineering. However, it is unclear whether they completed this degree.

In 1990, they attended HOGENT and earned a bachelor's degree in land surveying, which they completed in 1992. The following year, from 1992 to 1994, they attended Ecole Militaire du Genie, Jambes, where they obtained a degree in construction engineering and became an officer engineer.

Gerrit Roelants later pursued further education in the field of occupational safety and health technology. In 2016, they studied as a safety coordinator at Confederatie Bouw Oost-Vlaanderen. Gerrit also studied at Prevent, from 2020 to 2023, and obtained a degree as a prevention advisor niv 1 (safety manager lev 1). Additionally, they are currently pursuing an engineer's degree at Prevent, specializing in occupational safety and health technology, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
