Muhammad Irfan Younas

Muhammad Irfan Younas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Muhammad Irfan currently holds the position of Senior Business Consultant at Guidepoint, where they started in June 2023. Prior to this, they were the Founder and CEO of Clean and Green (Pvt) Limited, a company they established in February 2021. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Muhammad worked as a Senior Business Consultant at proSapient, beginning in January 2020.

Muhammad also has a background in the energy sector, having worked at Shell for over six years. Muhammad Irfan held two roles at Shell, including one as part of the Country Portfolio Lubricants Supply Chain from August 2018 to January 2021, and another in Operations Plant Portfolio Lubricants Supply Chain from July 2015 to August 2018.

Prior to joining Shell, Muhammad gained experience in oil, gas, and chemical services at SGS, where they worked from January 2014 to June 2015. Muhammad Irfan also worked at Sapphire Fibres Limited as a Process Engineer and Project Engineer in 2013.

Muhammad began their career as a Chemical Engineering Intern at SNGPL in September 2011, and later had another internship at the Fuel Research Centre PCSIR-Karachi from July 2011 to August 2011.

Muhammad Irfan Younas has pursued their education in various prestigious institutions. From 2008 to 2013, they attended the University of the Punjab, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Petroleum & Gas Technology. Following this, from 2019 to 2021, they enrolled in the Institute of Business Administration and earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

In terms of professional certifications, Muhammad Irfan Younas has completed several courses and programs. In 2019, they obtained the ISO 9001 Lead Implementer - Quality Certification from the Bureau Veritas Group. In the following year, they received a certificate in Carbon Capture and ESG from the Government of Sindh. In 2021, they further expanded their knowledge by completing courses such as "Investing in Private Equity" and "Identifying Competitive Risks" at Harvard Business School.

Muhammad Irfan Younas has also engaged in various training and certifications related to their field. Muhammad Irfan has certifications in ISO 14001, 22k+ MT's Tanks Hand Over E2E Procedures, Auto Distillation & FP Analyzer- UAE, Cold & Hot Work - LPI, Confined Space Entry Certification, Customer Centricity, Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP), E- Permit to Work (PTW System), ESG & Climate Change, Emergency Response System, Foundational Leadership for Individual Performers, LEL & UEL Expert, Leader of Teams, and Life Saving Rules from institutions such as Shell and SGS.

Currently, Muhammad Irfan Younas is attending Harvard Business School and is expected to complete their education there in 2022.
