Julianna Ianni has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Platform Silicon Co-op at AMD. In 2009, they were an Intern at Vanderbilt University's Department of Biomedical Informatics, and in 2010, they were an Intern at Vanderbilt University's Institute of Imaging Science, where they presented a poster for original research. In 2011, they were a Research Analyst at Vanderbilt University in the Psychology department. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University's Institute of Imaging Science, where they developed algorithms, used machine learning, and performed human subjects research. In 2018, they joined Proscia as Vice President of AI Research & Development, and then as Director of AI Research, where they led a team of four, communicated complex research, and developed IP strategies. Julianna was also a Senior Research Scientist and Deep Learning Engineer at Proscia.
Julianna Ianni received a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2011, following their studies there from 2007 to 2011. Julianna then obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2017. In 2020, they completed a Certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, they obtained an Intermediate (Estimated) Duolingo Spanish Fluency certification from Duolingo in 2016.
