Kurt Breede is a seasoned mining and investment professional currently serving as the Technical Director for Mining at Scotiabank, overseeing technical due diligence and financial modeling within the Global Mining and Metals Division. In addition to this role, Kurt is an Independent Director on the Board of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee for American Eagle Gold and Renforth Resources Inc. Previously, Kurt held key positions such as Technical Director at OCIM and Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Newton Minerals, among others. Kurt has a B.A.Sc. in Geological and Mineral Engineering from the University of Toronto and has furthered education in sustainability and greenhouse gas management.
