Jessie Chen

Jessie Chen has a diverse range of work experience. They most recently worked as the Director of Credit Risk Strategy at Prosper Marketplace starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Risk Strategy at CURO Financial Technologies Corp from August 2019 to September 2022. They also have experience in various roles at Discover Financial Services, including Senior Manager of Student Loan Collections Strategies and Manager of Discover Student Loan Collection. Additionally, they worked at Merrill Lynch as an Academic Intern and at Diversey Inc as a Marketing Promotion Summer Intern. They began their career as a Graduate Assistant at Marquette University.

Jessie Chen pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Banking at Dalian University of Technology (DUT) from 2004 to 2008. Jessie then completed their Master of Science degree in Applied Economics with a focus on Financial Economics at Marquette University from 2008 to 2010. Recently, Jessie obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, completing their studies from 2016 to 2020.
