Cindy Akins

Cindy Akins has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Cindy started as a programmer/analyst and held various IT positions at BCAA from 1993 to 2004. From 2004 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Project Manager and Director in different roles at BCAA, focusing on business solutions, transformation, claims, and program management. In 2020, Cindy joined Prospera Credit Union as the Director of the Integration Management Office and later transitioned to the role of Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office in 2021.

Cindy Akins holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Cindy has additional certifications including Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance obtained in May 2022, Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner from Prosci obtained in March 2019, Six Sigma Black Belt from 6SigmaStudy obtained in July 2015, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute obtained in May 2009.
