Jennifer Scharf

Jennifer Scharf has a strong background in finance and accounting. Jennifer currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Prospera Credit Union since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Part-time Instructor at BCIT School of Business starting in 2016.

Jennifer has also held various leadership roles at organizations such as Central 1 and Peoples Trust. At Central 1, they served as the VP of Finance from 2021 to 2022. At Peoples Trust, they held the positions of VP of Finance and AVP of Finance for different departments between 2017 and 2020.

Before their roles in the finance industry, Jennifer worked as the Director of Finance at Novo Textiles Co. from 2012 to 2017. Jennifer also gained significant experience at PwC, where they worked as a Senior Manager in the Financial Services, Audit and Assurance Group from 2003 to 2012.

Additionally, Jennifer has contributed to the accounting profession by serving as a CPA Final Exam Marker and Mentor at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2006 to 2010.

Jennifer Scharf's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at Simon Fraser University, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in Accounting in 2004. In 2004, they continued their education at the University of Saskatchewan, earning a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) degree in 2005. Later in the same year, they obtained a CPA CA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). In 2007, they participated in the Genesis Park - International pwc Leadership Program, although the duration of this program is not specified.
