Steve McClary has a strong background in facilities and real estate management. Steve started their career at the Vancouver School Board in the Maintenance and Construction Department, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2020, they held various roles at Westminster Savings Credit Union, including Premises & Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Planner, and Manager of Premises. Since 2020, Steve has been working at Prospera Credit Union, first as the Director of Facilities and currently as the Director of Real Estate Planning and Facilities Management.
Steve McClary attended Queen's University from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in History and Political Studies. Following their undergraduate studies, Steve obtained a Management Certificate in Operations Management with a Facilities Management option from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Steve has also obtained certifications in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) from Liahona Security Consortium Inc. and a Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification from the International Facility Management Association.
