Marco Galvan has a diverse work experience in various roles. Marco started their career at United Way for Greater Austin, where they worked as a Helpline Manager and later as the Director of 2-1-1 Texas. In these roles, they managed the daily operations of call centers, provided coaching and support to staff, and implemented program procedures and goals. Marco also developed performance metrics and tracking systems for departmental programs. After that, they joined CONTACT Crisis Line as a Crisis Line Call Center Manager, where they were responsible for managing the daily operations of a suicide and crisis intervention hotline. Currently, they are the Director of Information Technology and Platform at Prospera Financial, where they oversee the firm's technology infrastructure and initiatives across multiple locations. In this role, they develop and maintains policies and procedures, manages technology vendors, and ensures compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Marco Galvan earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Austin College between 1993 and 1997. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including the Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (SCAA) from Salesforce in November 2018, the Series 99 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in December 2015, and the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) from Salesforce in September 2013.
