Laura McKoy

Laura McKoy has extensive experience in marketing and communications, currently serving as the Head of Marketing & Community Events at the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia since March 2021. Prior roles include Head of Marketing & Engagement and General Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at the same organization. McKoy previously held the position of Manager, Communications and Media at Mates4Mates from September 2018 to February 2021, and served as Manager of Public Relations and Senior Media Advisor at Cancer Council Queensland from June 2013 to September 2018. Early career roles included Editor and Journalist at Fairfax Media and a Journalist at APN News & Media. McKoy holds a Bachelor of Media Arts in Communication, Journalism and a National Diploma of Journalism from Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology.
