Jim Vonier

Jim Vonier has a strong and diverse work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Jim has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

Jim started their career as an Audit Manager in Public Accounting Firms, where they specialized in audits for manufacturing, retail, service, and non-profit clients. Jim also prepared numerous corporate, individual, partnership, and non-profit tax returns.

Jim then joined Ethyl Corporation as a Senior Internal Auditor, where they performed financial and operational audits for Chemicals Group operations in the U.S. and Canada.

Jim later moved on to Leggett & Platt, where they served as the Corporate Controller, Director of Accounting, and Chief Accounting Officer. In this role, they managed accounting functions, financial reporting, AP, payroll, and accounting policies & procedures. Jim streamlined accounting and reporting functions to support the company's growth and developed a financial projection model to provide accurate and timely forecasts.

After that, they worked as a Vice President/Controller at Snelling & Snelling, Inc., where they were responsible for accounting functions and led the conversion of financial applications to PeopleSoft ERP. Jim also redesigned monthly financial reports at different levels.

Jim then joined kforce as the VP Finance/Controller, where they managed accounting functions, including SEC reporting and compliance, audit, budgeting and forecasting, AP, payroll, and billing/AR/credit/collection. Jim recruited and trained new accounting staff and created documentation packages to support quarterly and annual reporting, resulting in cost savings.

Jim later worked at Randstad North America as the VP Finance/Chief Accounting Officer. Here, they managed accounting functions, GL, external reporting, audit, treasury, AP, and purchasing procurement. Jim streamlined GL processing and reporting by consolidating it at corporate headquarters, resulting in significant cost savings.

Jim also worked at Tatum LLC as the Principal and Corporate Controller, where they provided financial and accounting consulting services to clients in various industries. Their projects included developing stock option accounting, reconciling perpetual to GL inventories, and creating processes to estimate monthly operating results.

Their most recent role was at Prosys Information Systems as the Controller - Business Operations.
