Joe Solito

Joe Solito has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Joe started their career at Laitram as a System Administrator, where they implemented Microsoft System Center Operations Manager and provided support for LANs, WANs, and network systems. Joe then moved to Capgemini, where they worked as an Applications Consultant II and Operations Manager in the Business Technology Office, managing team sites, operations, and creating processes for asset certification. Joe then joined Onica as a Cloud Engineer, contributing to a major cloud migration effort at a US airline and assisting in migrating critical applications to AWS. Most recently, Joe worked at Rackspace as a Professional Services Delivery Architect, leading AWS migration projects in various industries and developing an automated VDI solution using AWS Workspaces. Currently, Joe holds the position of Solutions Architect of Cloud Acceleration at Protagona.

Joe Solito attended Louisiana State University from 2013 to 2016, where they pursued a degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences, with a focus on Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, Joe has obtained several certifications. In July 2015, they completed the Open Water Diver certification from Scuba Schools International. In July 2015, they also earned the Certified Associate in Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute. In December 2016, Joe obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library. Joe went on to acquire the Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2017, followed by the Certified Associate Developer certification from AWS in December 2017. In May 2018, Joe obtained the Certified SysOps Administrator certification from AWS, and most recently in October 2020, they earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification from Amazon Web Services.
