Baran Afrooz

Baran Afrooz is a seasoned pharmaceutical professional currently serving as a Staff Scientist in Formulation at Protagonist Therapeutics since October 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Research Associate in the same field. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate and Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, College of Pharmacy from September 2016 to August 2020, and a position as a Pharmacist at Shefa Pharmacy from January 2015 to November 2015. Baran Afrooz also gained experience as a Pharmacy Intern at Motahari Hospital and Namazi Hospital from June 2013 to July 2014. Baran Afrooz earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences between 2008 and 2015.
