Research and Development

The Research and Development team at Protagonist Therapeutics focuses on discovering and developing orally-stable peptide therapies. Led by the Chief Drug Discovery & Preclinical Development Officer, the team conducts preclinical studies, manages drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK), prepares detailed medical documentation, and supports clinical pharmacology to advance innovative treatments for diseases currently treated with injectable antibodies.
