Dr Tanya Gershanik

Dr Tanya Gershanik has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Dr Tanya is currently the VP of Quality Affairs at Protalix Biotherapeutics, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the QP, Senior Director at the same company from February 2016 to September 2021. From November 2011 to September 2021, Dr Gershanik held the role of Associate Director of Quality Assurance at Protalix Biotherapeutics.

Before joining Protalix Biotherapeutics, Dr Gershanik worked as a Lecturer at BioForum - Applied Knowledge Center from June 2010 to September 2021.

Dr Tanya'searlier experience includes serving as the Pharmaceutical Technology & Validation Director at Taro Pharmaceutical Industries from December 1999 to October 2011, and as a Pharmacist at Superpharm from September 1993 to December 1999.

Dr Gershanik holds a PhD from Hebrew University of Jerusalem - Hadassah, which they obtained between 1994 and 1999.

Dr Tanya Gershanik earned their PhD in pharmacy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 1988 to 1999. In 1992 and 1993, they also attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, focusing on the management of pharmaceutical enterprise as part of an MBA program. Additionally, in 2011, they obtained certification as a Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional from ISPE.
