Patricia Barbalho

Patricia Barbalho is an experienced professional in the field of molecular pathology and medical genetics. Currently serving as a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor at Protean BioDiagnostics from April 2024 to May 2025, Patricia has also held positions as a Clinical Molecular Technologist. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at Norgen Biotek from March 2022 to April 2024, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at St. Michael's Hospital from October 2021 to March 2022. Additionally, Patricia worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Baylor College of Medicine from October 2020 to March 2021 and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation from November 2018 to October 2020. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Sciences (Medical Genetics) from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, completed in January 2018, and a Master's degree in Medical Sciences from the same institution, obtained in January 2013.
