Ahsan Chowdhury

Ahsan Chowdhury, Ph.D., P.E. has an extensive work experience in various roles within the semiconductor industry. Ahsan is currently serving as the VP & Head of Worldwide Field Operation at proteanTecs, where they lead teams supporting diverse customers/chips in monitoring the health and performance of chips from design to field. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Physical Design and Chip Lead at Mythic from 2019 to 2022. Before joining Mythic, they were the Director of Project/Chip Lead at Samsung Austin R&D Center (SARC) from 2018 to 2019. Ahsan also has a strong background in Physical Design and Chip Lead roles, having worked as the Principal Engineer, Project/Chip Lead at Samsung Austin R&D Center from 2010 to 2018. Ahsan has also held positions at Crescent Power, Inc., Integralwave Technologies, Cirrus Logic, Banderacom Inc., Equator Technologies, and Cirrus Logic. Ahsan has published eleven US patents throughout their career.

Ahsan Chowdhury, Ph.D., P.E. earned a Ph.D. and Masters in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters and Bachelor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), studying from 1983 to 1990.
