Steven Skowronski

Steve Skowronski has more than 30 years’ experience in accounting, finance, and claims within the insurance industry. Steve is the Chief Financial Officer, on a consulting basis, at Protecdiv.

In addition to his responsibilities at Protecdiv, Steve is the President and Founder of KSRS Consulting, LLC, an independent, executive-level consultancy serving the insurance and reinsurance industry, insurance regulators, and insurance-related service providers focused on financial, operational, regulatory and compliance matters.

Steve has had extensive experience at insurers and reinsurers (QBE, Caliber One, Reliance) where he has held roles including Controller, Treasurer, Director of Accounting & Claims, and head of complex integration projects. He has also had significant experience at consulting firms (Smart Devine, Grant Thornton) where he developed and led numerous teams focused on the insurance and reinsurance space.

Steve has a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Rutgers University. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
