Protect Our Winters
Meg O'Hara is an accomplished artist and advocate for environmental conservation, focusing on climate action and ocean preservation, particularly in polar regions. Currently serving as an Ambassador for 11th Hour Racing, O'Hara is involved in a two-year project that includes an expedition to the West Coast of Greenland. O'Hara holds memberships with prominent organizations such as The Explorers Club and The Royal Canadian Geographical Society, and has been recognized as a Fellow for contributions to scientific knowledge in geography. As a Creative Ambassador for Protect Our Winters, O'Hara aims to inspire outdoor enthusiasts to become climate activists. In February 2024, O'Hara will receive the Flag Carrier award from WINGS WorldQuest for an upcoming expedition to the Canadian High Arctic. O'Hara earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Theory from The University of British Columbia.

Protect Our Winters
Protect Our Winters is the environmental center point of the winter sports community. Founded by pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones in 2007, we are united towards a common goal of reducing climate change's effects on our sport and local mountain communities. With over 140,000 supporters worldwide, POW re-invests public and private contributions into educational initiatives, advocacy and supporting community-based initiatives that have tangible results.
