Karen Fossum

Karen Fossum is a Lead IT Architect at Protective Life, with previous experience as a Senior Applications System Engineer at the University of Washington. Prior to that, Karen worked as a Senior Professional: Programmer Architect at DXC Technology. Karen took a personal leave from work to care for family and support a small family business. Karen has also served as an Advocate at Innocence Project Northwest and worked as a Systems Consultant for Thrivent Financial. Karen holds a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from St. Olaf College.
