Roger Young

Roger Young has over 23 years of experience in reporting, quality assurance, and data management, currently serving as Sr. Director of Reporting and QA at Protective Life since September 2006. Roger has successfully led a team of Directors and professionals to achieve divisional and corporate objectives, overseeing significant data processing operations and implementing quality assurance improvements, including a 66% reduction in unplanned releases. Prior roles include AVP of Reporting and QA, where Roger established a QA department and participated in M&A due diligence. Roger also has a strong background in analytics, having consolidated DevOps processes and created a comprehensive data warehouse. Prior to Protective Life, Roger worked at Sensient, enhancing supply chain processes and developing applications for data analysis. Roger holds a Master’s in Managing Information Technology from Lindenwood University, a Bachelor's in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, and two Associate degrees in Information Technology and Chemical Technology from St. Louis Community College.
