Doug Mehne

Doug Mehne has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry. Doug worked as a Chief Business Officer at Protego Trust, where they established and directed various functions such as Operations, Finance, Sales, Business Development, HR, and Trust. Doug also played a key role in securing early funding and developing policies and procedures.

Before joining Protego Trust, Doug worked at BNY Mellon as a Managing Director, leading the digital transformation and data business. Doug also served as the Head of Strategy & Product Management, where they developed a data management business plan and led client engagement initiatives.

Doug has also worked as a Principal at Independent Consulting Services, where they provided strategic planning and market evaluation services in the Financial Services, FinTech, and Data/Information sectors.

Earlier in their career, Doug held senior positions at State Street, where they led strategy and sales management for the Global Link business, achieving significant revenue growth. Doug also worked at Finaplex, a FinTech startup, as the Head of Sales and Marketing, and at Reuters as an Executive Vice President, managing global accounts and leading post-merger integration efforts.
