Lucas Cherestal

Lucas Cherestal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lucas started their career as a Server Trainer at Star Restaurant Group in May 2018, where they trained new servers. In December 2019, they joined Protenus as a Help Desk employee, providing technical support. Following this, they ventured into entrepreneurship as the owner of ChefsOfTheCarribean, a food truck business, starting in December 2020. In this role, they managed all aspects of the business and enjoyed connecting with customers through food. Lucas then transitioned to T. Rowe Price in January 2022, working as a RIS Customer Success Specialist, where they handled a high volume of calls and utilized CRM software. Most recently, in February 2023, Lucas returned to Protenus as an IT Associate Engineer.

Lucas Cherestal began their education journey in 2019, attending NPower, where they completed a workforce development program in Information Technology. Lucas then pursued further education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County starting in 2021, specializing in Software Developer Foundation.

Additionally, Lucas Cherestal has obtained several certifications. In November 2019, they obtained the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert. In August 2019, they acquired the CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) Certification from CompTIA. More recently, in February 2023, they earned the Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian, and in May 2023, they received the Confluence Fundamentals Badge, also from Atlassian.
