Steven Knight

Steven Knight is a highly experienced medicinal chemist currently serving as Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Proteovant Therapeutics since March 2022. Previously, Steven worked for GlaxoSmithKline for nearly 26 years, culminating in the role of Scientific Director in Medicinal Chemistry. An academic background includes a Post Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania sponsored by Professors Ralph Hirschmann and Amos B. Smith, III, after earning a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UC Irvine and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. Steven's research interests focus on the design and synthesis of novel peptidomimetics.
