Patrick Francoisse

Patrick Francoisse has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and industries. Patrick currently holds the position of Director Strategy and Industrialisation at Protera, a role they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director Operations Europe at Protera from June 2020 to January 2021.

In 2019, Francoisse was the Managing Partner at DIAPHORA until July 2021. Before that, they held multiple positions at SOLVAY, including Manufacturing Excellence Leader, Deputy General Manager of SOLVAY Saudi Services Company, Sustainable Energy Platform Manager, and Operations Manager of Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients.

Francoisse also worked at ACAL Energy Limited as a Non-Executive Board Director from May 2010 to July 2012. In addition, they have a future role as a Partner at Time for the Planet starting from December 2022.

Throughout their career, Francoisse has demonstrated expertise in strategy, industrialization, operations, and business development. Patrick has a strong focus on sustainable energy and environmental processes, having led various projects and initiatives in these areas.

Patrick Francoisse has an extensive education history. Patrick obtained an MBA in Business Administration from The Open University Business School, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a PhD in Applied Sciences from Université catholique de Louvain, attending from 1981 to 1985. Before their PhD, they completed an MSc in Chemical Engineering at École polytechnique de Louvain - Louvain School of engineering, from 1976 to 1981.

In recent years, Patrick Francoisse has also gained additional certifications in various fields. These include completing the "IFRS & IAS Standards" program from Deloitte in January 2022, participating in workshops on "Systemic Coaching for Managers, Teams and Organizations" provided by Metasysteme Coaching ME in January 2020, and obtaining certificates in "Patterns for Decentralized Organizing" from The Hum in May 2019 and "Shared Governance" from Université du Nous in May 2019. Patrick also acquired knowledge in "Collective Intelligence and Shared Governance" through GrowYourBusiness in February 2019 and completed the "Make Change a Success" program at ESSEC Business School in August 2018.

Furthermore, Patrick Francoisse has received certifications in coaching. Patrick obtained the "Professionnal Coach" degree from Coaching Ways France, an ACTP ICF - RNCP 2 accredited program, between 2018 and 2019. Patrick also completed the "Core Essential Fast Track Program," an ICF ACSTH Certified Coaching Program, offered by Coach U, Inc. in June 2011.

Additionally, they have obtained certifications and attended conferences and workshops such as in "Créativité - Accélérateur des mutations en entreprise" from CREA Conference in April 2010 and "Méthodes et outils de la prospective stratégique" from Futuribles International in January 2008. Patrick completed the "Business Angels Academy" training provided by Solvay Entrepreneurs in December 2007 and participated in the program "Animer et diriger une équipe technique" offered by Ecole Polytechnique Executive Education in June 2002. Furthermore, in October 1997, they obtained a certification in "Bulk Pharmaceutical Chemicals Production" from CfPA - The Center for Professional Advancement.
