April Dawson has been working in the field of research and development since 2013. April began their career as a student and athlete at Idaho State University. In 2017, they pursued their Master's Degree at California State University San Marcos. In 2018, they joined Eco Feedstock as a Research and Development Associate at Chloronova Inc. where they worked to improve existing products and create new ones. In 2019, they joined Proterra Ag as a Research Associate in their Biosciences department. Her work focuses on coming up with novel or unexpected ways to apply biology or biotechnology to enhance productivity or reduce costs.
April Dawson obtained their High School Diploma from Boulder High School in 2013. April then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from Idaho State University between 2013 and 2017. In 2017, they completed their Master's degree in Biotechnology from CSUSM Extended Learning.
