Yungunn Ko

Yungunn Ko is a professional with extensive experience in the battery and energy sector, currently serving as a Battery Algorithms and Simulation Engineer at Proterra Inc since September 2022. Prior to this role, Yungunn held positions at LG Energy Solution from February 2019 to June 2021, functioning as both an Electrode Engineer and a Continuous Improvement Engineer, where significant contributions included leading an $80 million electrode production line expansion project and stabilizing the expansion coating process line. Yungunn holds a Master of Engineering in Autonomous Systems from UCLA (September 2021 - August 2022) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from UCLA (2012 - 2018).
