Jim Potenziano

Jim Potenziano has had a long and successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. Jim began in 1998 as a Product Specialist at Ortho Biotech, followed by a Medical Affairs Group Manager position at Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America in 2000. In 2004, they were a Regional Medical Director at Elan Pharmaceuticals, and then a National Medical Director at inVentiv Health in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, they were the Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Reliant Pharmaceuticals/GSK, and then Vice President of Scientific Affairs R&D Lead at IKARIA, Inc. In 2015, they became Vice President Global Medical Lead INOMAX at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, and most recently, they were appointed Chief Operating Officer at Proterris, Inc. in 2020.

Jim Potenziano received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bio-Organic Chemistry from Binghamton University between 1989 and 1994.
