Marco Visser

Marco Visser has extensive experience in the field of theology, serving as a Predikant in various Protestant congregations in the Netherlands since 2005. Currently affiliated with the Protestantse Gemeente rond de Goede Herderkerk in Rotterdam-Schiebroek, Marco has also held positions as a Postdoc onderzoeker at the Protestantse Theologische Universiteit since 2022 and as a co-founder and secretary of De Nieuwe Bijbelschool, a network focused on the relevance of the Bible today. Additional roles include serving as a board member of the dr. K.H. Miskotte Stichting, which promotes the work of influential theologian Kornelis Heiko Miskotte. Marco's previous research experience includes a role as an onderzoeker at the Protestantse Theologische Universiteit Amsterdam. Marco holds a PhD in Biblical Theology from PThU and degrees in Theology from Leiden University and the University of Amsterdam, complemented by studies at Heidelberg University.
