Rineke van Ginkel

Rineke van Ginkel is a seasoned predikant with extensive experience in church leadership and community engagement, currently serving at the Protestantse Kerk in Nederland since January 2017. Rineke's work encompasses worship, pastoral care, formation, policy development, and support within the church and local community. Prior to this role, Rineke worked as an oecumenisch medewerker with Kerk in Actie, affiliated with the Beyers Naudé Centre for Public Theology, focusing on various social issues in South Africa. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Theology from Protestant Theological University and ongoing doctoral studies at Stellenbosch University in Contextual Biblical Interpretation. Rineke's diverse experience also includes teaching positions and internships related to biblical translation and practical theology.
