Bill Mooney has held a number of roles in the gaming industry, beginning with Senior Producer at Shaba Games in 2004. Bill then moved to LucasArts in 2006 as Producer-External, followed by Studio Vice President at Zynga in 2008. In 2012, they became Chief Operating Officer at Chirpme, before taking on the role of Chief Product Officer at ROBLOX in 2013. In 2014, they were Vice President, Group GM of Capital Games and The Simpsons at Electronic Arts (EA). Bill then moved to King as Vice President, Creative in 2017, and is currently the CEO at Proteus Games since 2019.
Bill Mooney attended McGill University from 1987 to 1991, graduating with a B.A. (Honors) in Philosophy. Bill then went on to attend the University of Iowa College of Law, graduating with a J.D. (High Honors) in Law.
