Will Waterman PT, DPT, PRC, OCS, COMT, CSCS

Will Waterman PT, DPT, PRC, OCS, COMT, CSCS has over 10 years of experience in the physical therapy field. In 2008, they began their career as a Physical Therapy Student Intern at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Will then completed internships at Athletico in 2009 and Physical Therapy Chicago, Ltd. in 2010. In 2010, they began working as a Physical Therapist at NovaCare. In 2013, they became a Physical Therapist at DePaul University, where they were the Primary Therapist for DePaul's Division 1 NCAA Athletes. In 2014, they began working as a Physical Therapist at Stanford Health Care. In 2016, they founded Waterman Physical Therapy and Sports Science Consulting, where they work with companies to develop their fitness technology products and specializes in improving functional movement, athletic performance, and eliminating muscular imbalance in their patients. In 2018, they became the Head of Performance and Sports Science and Director of Sports Science and Human Performance at Proteus Motion, where they lead the operations and strategic direction of the company's Product Management, Customer Success, and Sales and Marketing teams with a focus on driving growth, developing research, and leading client training and retention efforts.

Will Waterman holds a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science from The University of Georgia, obtained in 2007. Will then went on to obtain their Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Armstrong State University in 2010. In 2012, they obtained their Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In 2013, they obtained their Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (COMT) from the Ola Grimsby Institute. In 2017, they obtained their Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) from the Postural Restoration Institute. Finally, in 2018, they obtained their Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) from the APTA.
