Karla Chavez Hernandez began their work experience in 2012 as an Accounting Assistant at DIMSA, where they developed an advertising video and worked on research analysis for the company. In 2015, they worked as a Fashion Marketing intern at ORDRE.com, where they conducted research projects and identified key international retailers and buyers. At Babson College that same year, they held two roles: Education Abroad Peer Advisor and Peer Mentor. Their duties included sharing knowledge and experiences for education abroad opportunities and guiding new students through orientation. In 2016, Hernandez started as a Research Analyst Intern at Protobrand, then worked their way up to become the Senior Research Manager and Analyst, Research Manager and Analyst, Household Economics Analyst, and ultimately the Head of Research Operations. Their responsibilities included overseeing research operations, managing research and analysis projects and conducting market research.

Karla Chavez Hernandez began their education by pursuing an International Business Honors Program at Tecnológico de Monterrey in the year 2012 and continued it by getting a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Babson College in the years 2013-2015. In the same period, they also attended an exchange program at Università Bocconi. Karla then furthered their education by enrolling in the Dual City Program in Fashion Communication & Promotion offered by both Parsons School of Design and the University of the Arts London in the year 2014. After that, they pursued an MBA degree at Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from the years 2019 to 2022. Additionally, Karla also completed a diploma in Art & Culture from Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Firenze in 2010 as well as completed an Internship program in Business offered by The Intern Group located in Hong Kong in 2015. Karla has also obtained certifications in Inbound Marketing Certified from HubSpot Academy in 2020, and Viral Marketing and How to Craft Contagious Content from the University of Pennsylvania.
