Nynke Krans is a professional with a strong background in nanomaterials and application management. Currently serving as the Regional Applications and Marketing Manager for EMEA at Protochips since September 2021, Nynke previously worked as an Advisor in Nanomaterial Safety at the Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu from September 2020 to September 2021. Nynke completed a PhD at Utrecht University from October 2015 to February 2020, focusing on the Fischer-Tropsch to chemicals reaction using iron oxide nanoparticles, with specialized expertise in Transmission Electron Microscopy. Additionally, an internship at Johnson Matthey provided experience in automotive catalyst research. Nynke holds both a Master of Science in Nanomaterials and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, both from Utrecht University.
