Rohit Goel, CFA

Rohit Goel is the current Head of Treasury at Protocol Labs. Prior to this, they worked as a Treasury Consultant at Zendesk from January 2020 to December 2021. Rohit was responsible for co-managing the treasury function after the entire treasury team left at the same time. This included overseeing funding of over 15 international subsidiaries under a Cost+ model, supporting the transition of one of the largest subsidiaries to a Reseller model with local currency billings, revamping the direct cash flow model by identifying & adding missing pieces, thereby reducing the variance from the indirect cash flow model by over 90%, and refining the investment strategy by better aligning the investment portfolios with company cash flows and market conditions, thereby increasing investment income by over $1 million/year. Rohit also managed the cash flow hedging program for expenses in 10 currencies & billings in 2 currencies, and was responsible for capital markets, liquidity management, bank relationships and PBC deliverables. Prior to their work at Zendesk, Rohit worked as Vice President, Head of Portfolio Management and Trading at Square 1 Asset Management from January 2014 to December 2017.

Rohit Goel has a MBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and a certification from the CFA Institute. Rohit attended Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram for high school.
