Sadat Slade is an experienced professional in business development and research, currently working at Protocol Labs as part of the CryptoEconLab team since 2025. Previously, Sadat held a business development role at io.net in 2024, where ecosystem partnerships and strategy for an AI compute platform were built. From 2022 to 2023, Sadat served as a research collaborator on a grant-funded project at the Charter Cities Institute, focusing on the development of a new city in the Zambia–DRC Copperbelt. Additionally, as the founder of the Helium Mining Project at Helium Inc from 2021 to 2023, Sadat raised capital for acquiring Helium miners in Mexico, gaining valuable experience in decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN).
