Jean-Baptiste Valsamis

Jean-Baptiste Valsamis is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as VP of Engineering at Proton Intelligence since January 2023. Prior to this role, Jean-Baptiste held positions at Metronom Health Europe from June 2017 to March 2023, where responsibilities included Principal Algorithm Engineer and Principal Hardware Engineer, contributing to the development of a Continuous Glucose Monitoring device. Additional experience includes working as a Scientific Collaborator at UMC Sint-Pieter - CHU Saint-Pierre, a Software and Electronics Designer at GoonWeb, and co-founding NOHO. CARE, which focuses on an ergonomic connected bandage for lymphedema patients. Jean-Baptiste has a robust academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Engineering Science and has been involved in various research projects, including teleoperation systems for endoluminal surgery and novel techniques for treating lymphedema.
