Paul Demuro

Paul Demuro is currently the Data Science & Data Analytics Advisor at Protoqual Learning Systems. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Legal Officer Health and Wellness at Royal Palm Companies from June 2020 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for handling and supervising the day to day legal activities of the company, as well as serving as a "legal architect" for the record-breaking joint venture transaction to lease and operate a first of its kind health and well-being center at Miami World Center.

Before their time at Royal Palm Companies, Demuro was Of Counsel at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough from August 2018 to May 2020. Paul also served as a Mentor at Startupbootcamp from October 2017 to August 2018. In May 2016, they began their career as an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociobehavioral and Administrative Pharmacy at Nova Southeastern University, College of Pharmacy, where they remained until June 2017.

Paul Demuro has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Washington - School of Medicine, a Master's Degree in Biomedical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Paul is also a certified Healthcare Compliance Officer (CHC) and Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE).
