Ana Merse

Ana Merse is an experienced aquaculture technician currently working at Provectus Algae since February 2022. Prior to this role, Ana Merse was a trainee at Banco Español de Algas from July 2020 to September 2021, where a master's thesis was conducted on growth monitoring of native diatom strains, contributing to the H2020 NewTechAqua project. Earlier experience includes a trainee position in R&D at Eurofins from May 2017 to January 2018, focusing on the KOMBISPEC project, which involved studying mycotoxin formation under silo conditions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, a Master of Science in Biotechnology and Applied Ecology from Technische Universität Dresden, and a semester abroad at Università degli Studi di Padova in the same field.
