Fergus Nolan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Fergus started their career at Procter and Gamble, where they worked as a Manager from 1990 to 1996. After that, they joined Kurt Salmon Associates as a Senior Consultant and played a crucial role in developing work studies for various retailers across the UK and Europe. Fergus also led the implementation of POS and retail merchandise solutions for companies like Nike, ELC, and Rustans.

In 2001, Fergus joined Nike, where they held several senior roles. As the Lean Business Enablement Director, they contributed to business improvement initiatives from 2009 to 2011. Before that, as the Program Office Director from 2005 to 2009, they oversaw global project initiatives. Fergus also served as the Strategic Account Director for Nike's start-up team in Europe, leading IT strategy development and project execution in the EMEA region. Additionally, Fergus worked as the Retail IT Director, responsible for retail technology solutions from 2001 to 2004.

During their time at Nike, Fergus also took on leadership roles in technology. As the Enterprise Release Director from 2011 to 2013, they managed the enterprise application release team and ensured seamless system integration. Fergus was instrumental in automating testing across SAP systems. Later, they became the Sr Director - Nike Technology Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they led the APLA Technology Team, managed the annual operating budget, and contributed to the implementation of Nike's consumer digital offense.

After leaving Nike, Fergus joined The Provenance Chain™ Network in 2018 as an Advisor and co-founder. Currently, they are working at Columbia Sportswear Company. Fergus started as the Columbia Sportswear Brands and Regions IT Leader from 2019 to 2021, driving IT strategy and sustainable business growth across multiple brands and regions. Currently, they serve as the Sales and IDR IT leader, responsible for the IT strategy and roadmap across wholesale channels, supporting sustainable business growth.

Fergus Nolan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Trinity College Dublin. Fergus attended Trinity College Dublin from 1988 to 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Fergus Nolan obtained an IT Service Management Practices (ITIL) certification from Nike in 2015, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Nike in May 2014, and an Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC) certification from Columbia Sportswear Company. Fergus also has a PMP certification, but the institution and year of obtaining are not specified.
