Todd Hoffmaster

Board member, Co-Founder and Advisor at AkitaBox

Todd Hoffmaster has a wealth of experience in the construction and engineering industries. Todd started their career in 2004 as an intern at UrbanWorks Architecture LLC. In 2005, they moved to Bouril Design Studio, LLC as a Designer, where they led the implementation of BIM throughout the 20 person office. In 2007, they joined M. A. Mortenson Company as a Sr. Integrated Construction Coordinator, leading teams totaling over $650 Million dollars in built construction and coordinating over 1.2 Million Square Feet in complex Infrastructures. In 2013, they joined Turis Innovation Systems as a Senior Innovation Advisor, exploring technology applications for facility data management and looking into the future of BIM with cross-disciplinary research and opportunities. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Board Member, Co-Founder and Advisor, as well as a Co Founder and CEO, at AkitaBox. During this time, they were also an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin School of Engineers, teaching a class of 20-40 students on all aspects of BIM, Software and technology implementation. In 2019, they joined UCHardChip Inc. as a Board Member. Most recently, in 2020, they became an Executive Sales at Concrete & Masonry Restoration, LLC and Creative Maintenance Solutions.

Todd Hoffmaster graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business/Commerce, General. Todd then attended the University of Minnesota where they graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Architecture, Construction Management. In 2015, they graduated from the gener8tor accelerator program with a degree in Hard Knocks! in the field of SaaS and Business.
