Joseph Karl

Joseph Karl is chief investment strategist and co-chair of the investment committee at Provenance Wealth Advisors. He is responsible for leading the firm’s research team and evaluating macroeconomic and market conditions which shape the views of the investment committee and the positioning of the firm’s discretionary portfolios.

Joseph also combines his investment and research skills to develop and implement a customized investment plan for high-net-worth clients. He uses a holistic financial planning approach, taking into consideration all aspects of clients’ financial resources to develop custom-tailored investment strategies to most efficiently meet their goals and objectives. His diligent research abilities and extensive investment experience provide deep insight when serving a diverse array of high-net-worth individuals, business owners, entrepreneurs and multi-generational families.

Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wittenberg University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charter holder. He moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2012 to continue his career as an investment strategist and financial advisor. He is active in the community and is a mentor for Take Stock in Children, where he focuses his time in the development and educational success of his mentees. Joseph is a co-host of the Relatable Finance podcast, where he and co-host Shane Phillips share investment and personal finance strategies with listeners.
