Scott Montgomery

Director and Financial Advisor Scott Montgomery joined Provenance Wealth Advisors in 2002. For more than 30 years, Scott has been advising ultra-affluent families, industry leaders and entrepreneurs on all aspects of wealth management including estate planning, asset allocation, business succession and investment strategies. His focus is on holistic planning to help clients create a life they envision by employing tactics designed to preserve and build their estate while securing a future for their heirs. His commitment to deliver satisfaction has led to long-term client relationships spanning over multiple generations.

Scott is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and finance. Prior to joining Provenance Wealth Advisors and becoming director and branch manager, he began his financial career with Cigna Financial Advisors where he was regional sales manager. He exemplifies strategic comprehensive planning and continues to be a resource for the PWA new advisors.

Outside of the office, Scott is active in the community. As a volunteer for Take Stock in Children since 2011, he mentors and inspires tomorrow’s leaders by volunteering to guide young children through their early education so they can receive a scholarship opportunity to earn a college degree. He also actively participates in fund- raising for the largest NFL fundraiser in the country, Dolphins Cancer Challenge, and has raised more than $20,000 since inception. Scott is passionate about conquering cancer and in giving support to those affected by it. As past president of the Estate Planning Council of Broward, he is always on the cutting edge of the ever-changing opportunities of estate planning. Additionally, he served on the board of the Rotary Club of Ft. Lauderdale and was a member of the investment committee for its charitable foundation.
