Simon Hellams

Simon Hellams has significant work experience in the agricultural and veterinary industries. Simon is currently the Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region at Covetrus, a role they started in 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President and Managing Director of ANZ at Provet, Australasia's Leading Veterinary Distributor, starting in 2020.

Before their time at Provet, Hellams worked as the General Manager of Procurement and Supply at Ruralco Holdings Limited, an Australian agribusiness. There, they were responsible for providing exceptional service to clients and promoting innovation in farming. Simon held this position from November 2018 to February 2020.

Hellams also held various roles at Boehringer Ingelheim and Merial. At Boehringer Ingelheim, they were the Head of Pets and Equine from April 2017 to November 2018. At Merial, they served as the Director of the Companion Animal Business from March 2014 to April 2017, the Director of the Large Animal Business from March 2011 to March 2014, and the National Business Manager for Ancare from April 2008 to March 2011.

Prior to their time at Merial, Hellams worked as the National Category Manager for Animal Health at Ruralco Holdings Limited from February 2006 to March 2008.

Simon Hellams earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a specialization in Animal Science from the University of Sydney from 1990 to 1994. Simon later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Consumer Behaviour at Western Sydney University from 2005 to 2008.
