John Adegoke has a comprehensive work experience in the field of information governance, data protection, and compliance. John has held various leadership roles in reputable companies and organizations. From 1999 to 2008, they worked at MindShare Media UK Ltd, where they served as the Head of IT Operations and later as the IT Manager, overseeing information security management and the establishment of an in-house IT department. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at GroupM as the Information Technology Compliance Director for EMEA, responsible for compliance monitoring, risk management, and business continuity. John then joined IPG Mediabrands as the Data Protection & Compliance Director, EMEA, from 2015 to 2019, where they led regional audit programs and managed data protection and privacy programs. In 2020, they worked as a Data Protection & Privacy Consultant at Hackney CVS, conducting reviews and identifying compliance gaps. John also served as the Data Protection Lead at African Development Choices.
