Volunteer Staff - Palliative Care And Mental Health at Providence Care Corporation

Elena Cecchetto is an experienced educator and volunteer with a diverse background in language instruction and cultural studies. Currently serving as a Volunteer Staff in palliative care and mental health at Providence Care since March 2019, Elena also holds multiple teaching roles at Queen's University, where responsibilities have included Lecturer and Teaching Fellow in various departments since 2013. In addition, Elena has served as an Intercultural Advisor for the UW International Spouses Group at the University of Waterloo since 2010. Past roles include Equity Talk Columnist for the Sociology Department at Queen's University and Italian Language Instructor at St. Louis Adult Learning Centres. Elena's educational qualifications include an M.A. in Cultural Studies from Queen's University, several language teaching certificates, and degrees in linguistics and language teaching from Università degli studi Roma TRE.
