Melanie Smeaton M.ed.

Melanie Smeaton, M.Ed., currently serves as a Classroom Teacher at Providence Country Day School since January 2023, where responsibilities include establishing a structured learning environment for third graders and collaborating on a campus merger. Previously, Melanie worked as a Classroom Teacher at Seekonk Public Schools, managing routines for second graders during a maternity leave, and held positions as a Special Education Teacher across multiple school districts. Melanie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Stonehill College and a Master of Education in Special Education from Bridgewater State University. Melanie has also contributed to curriculum development and the implementation of instructional programs, enhancing the learning experiences for students with diverse needs.
