David Labine

David LaBine has extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. David has worked for various companies throughout their career. From 2017 to present, they have served as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Providence Digital Innovation Group, where they have been responsible for leading engineering efforts in building consumer-facing products and B2B SaaS offerings in the healthcare industry. Prior to this, from 1999 to 2017, they worked at SMART Technologies, initially as a Senior Software Developer and eventually progressing to Director of Software Development. During their time there, they played a key role in creating the market for in-class collaborative software products and led teams in delivering educational content and interactive systems. From 1997 to 1998, David worked as a Software Developer at IBM Global Services.

David LaBine completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Alberta between 1994 and 1999.
