Eric Conaway

Eric Conaway is a vice president on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Kansas City office. Mr. Conaway works with PSG portfolio companies to enhance various financial-related activities. Mr. Conaway has over 20 years of experience in financial planning and treasury. Prior to joining Providence in 2019, Mr. Conaway was Vice President of Finance at Ascend Learning a leading provider of educational content, software and analytics. During his six years at Ascend Learning, Mr. Conaway led the financial planning and analysis team through tremendous growth doubling EBITDA to over $200M and completing numerous acquisitions. Prior to Ascend Learning, Mr. Conaway spend eighteen years at Sprint Telecommunications playing a key role in the $22B merger transaction with Softbank prior to his departure. Mr. Conaway received his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Baker University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
